Our Partners
We believe that our most important partnerships are with the families we serve.
When we partner with families we strengthen our ability to meet the needs of children. We recognize that parents and guardians are the constant in a child’s life. They can teach us so much about their child, share their knowledge and their unique perspectives. We welcome them into our classrooms and programs and invite them to participate in ways that are meaningful to them. Their involvement and input contributes greatly to our ability to do what is best for them and their children.
Whitehills understands the importance of actively participating in the early learning and child development community as well as the greater child and family system. We believe that when we partner with other organizations and networks in our community we can improve positive outcomes for families and children helping them to access service in a more seamless way.
We work closely with Thames Valley District School Board to improve outcomes for the children and families we share. As third party operators with the Thames Valley District School Board, we provide child care and before and after school programs inside schools, offering children and families a seamless transition between their school and child care environments. We partner with the school staff at each unique location as well as with board staff and other child care operators at community planning tables to continuously improve the experience for children and families.
We work closely with the London District Catholic School Board and our St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School location provides opportunities for both the students of the school and our little ones to interact, share space and learn from each other.
Whitehills is a dedicated and active member of London, Ontario’s Child and Youth Network CYN. We work together with over 170 other agencies with a goal to do what is best for children, youth and families. As a child care provider in the County of Middlesex we also participate on the Middlesex Children’s Service Network.
“My daughter has gone there since she was 1 and I think I can say we’ve not had one complaint.”
“We have a little girl with special needs and we know that the staff and other students at Whitehills have helped prepare her for full integration to school next year. They are forever a part of our family. Thank you.”
“I feel confident in knowing that when I drop my son off at the program that he is participating in a welcoming, organized, safe and productive setting.”
