Centennial Central Schoolage Program

Located minutes outside London, our Centennial Central Schoolage Program is located in the rural setting of the Centennial Central Public School, an elementary school of the Thames Valley District School Board. This location provides before and after school programs for children 3.8 – 12 years.

Our indoor and outdoor environments invite school age children to safely learn through play and exploration, build on their strengths and develop and nurture friendships. Our children at Centennial Central work together like one big happy family. This group loves to engage in building projects and our educators supply a wealth of real, natural and play materials that engage their creativity and support their interests. Educators provide lots of opportunities for healthy physical activity before and after a busy school day and healthy snacks are served.

We provide inclusive environments that welcome families and invite them to participate as they feel comfortable. Ongoing communication between educators and families supports the well-being of the children and gives families a sense of belonging. Communication takes many forms in order to support the diverse needs of families. Storypark, a web-based interactive communication tool, gives educators and families the opportunity to share in the children’s learning & daily experiences and the Storypark app is used to provide timely information to families such as inclement weather closures.
